Who we are

Wualt ("we", "us") is building a ring for women's everyday safety. This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you use our website, wualt.com, or reserve a ring.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the website and ring reservations only. The ring is not on sale yet, and we plan to ship it in early 2027.

The ring and its app will have their own privacy notice and terms before they ship. Please read that notice when it is ready, because the ring and app will handle different information from this website. For example, the ring is designed to keep wellness data such as cycle, sleep, stress and activity on your device, encrypted, by default.

What we collect

We collect what you choose to give us on our forms and when you pay, plus some technical information from your visit. Here is what each part of the site asks for.

• Reservation form on the home page: your first name, last name, email address and city. The payment page opens after you submit it.
• Payment: you pay the ₹149 reservation deposit on a page hosted by Razorpay. You enter your card or UPI details there, and Razorpay handles them. We do not receive them. We receive a payment record: the name, email address and phone number you entered on that page, the amount and the payment status.
• Footer and newsletter sign-up: your email address. The Community page has a newsletter sign-up too.
• About page form: your first name, last name, email address and city. You can also answer "What drew you to Wualt?", but that is optional.
• Partners form: your first name, last name, work email address, company or organisation, role or title, and a message.
• Community page poll: your answers to the poll.
• Join the community: this opens a Google Form that runs on Google's service. The form shows what it asks for.
• Technical information: our hosting and analytics providers receive details that your browser sends automatically. These can include your IP address, your device and browser type, and the pages you visit.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• set up and manage your reservation, including any refund request, and keep you updated about your ring;
• reply to your messages and to partner enquiries;
• send the newsletter and updates you signed up for;
• understand how people use the site, so we can improve it;
• meet our legal obligations.

We use your information because you gave it to us for these purposes, for example by submitting a form. You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you do, we will stop using your information for that purpose, unless the law says we must keep it.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run the website and our community. Each one receives some of your information so it can do its job.

• Webflow: hosts the website and handles form submissions.
• Google Analytics 4: measures how the site is used. It uses cookies.
• Razorpay: takes your reservation deposit on its payment page.
• Brevo: keeps our email lists and sends our newsletters.
• Google Forms: collects community sign-ups.
• Automation tools that we operate: pass form entries to our email lists.

Some of these providers may store information outside India. Each provider also has its own privacy policy, which applies to what it does with your information. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people use the site. It sets cookies on your device.

Right now, the site does not show a cookie banner. That means analytics cookies may be set when you visit, before you have made a choice. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The Razorpay payment page and Google Forms are run by those companies. They may use their own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or online service can be completely secure, though, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

Please never put card or UPI details in a form or an email to us. You only enter those on Razorpay's payment page.

Your rights and choices

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is the main law that applies to how we handle your information. You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, and raise a grievance with us.

To do any of these, write to hello@wualt.com and tell us what you need. Please include the name and email address you used on our site, so we can find your details. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can.

To stop receiving our newsletter, ask us at the same address to unsubscribe you.

If you live outside India, your local law may give you additional rights. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to help.

Children

Our website and reservations are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has shared information with us, please write to hello@wualt.com so we can look into it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the ring gets closer to shipping. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make an important change, we will say so on this page.
