About these terms

These terms cover your use of wualt.com and your ring reservation. They are between you and Wualt ("we", "us"). By using the site or reserving a ring, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site and reservations are for people aged 18 and over.

The ring and its app will have their own privacy notice and terms before they ship, and these terms do not cover them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information on the site.

Using the website

You are welcome to browse the site, join our community, get in touch and reserve a ring. When you fill in a form, please give us accurate information. Please also follow the rules in "Acceptable use" below.

The ring is still in development

The ring is not on sale yet. We plan to ship it in early 2027. What we say on the site describes what we are building and what we aim to deliver.

Features, design, specifications, the price for anyone who is not a founding member, and the ship date may all change as we build.

Reservations and your deposit

Reserving a ring takes two steps:

1. You fill in the reservation form on our home page.
2. A payment page hosted by Razorpay opens, where you pay a ₹149 reservation deposit.

The payment page says: "The ₹149 reservation deposit is fully refundable anytime before your ring ships and is credited in full toward your final order."

In plain words, you can ask for your deposit back at any time before your ring ships. If you go ahead, the full ₹149 counts toward your final order. Reserving is not the final order itself.

To ask for a refund, write to hello@wualt.com. Please include the name and email address you used to reserve, so we can find your reservation.

You enter your card or UPI details on Razorpay's page, and Razorpay handles them under its own terms. We receive a payment record: the name, email address and phone number you entered, the amount and the payment status.

Founding price

The first 1,000 members lock in the founding price of ₹8,999. Anyone who joins after that is not a founding member, and the price for them may change.

Not an emergency service

Wualt is not an emergency service. This website and any Wualt product do not replace calling the emergency services. In India, dial 112.

The ring is designed with a silent SOS. A quiet press is designed to alert your trusted circle with your live location and a pre-set message, and to alert emergency services only if you have enabled that. Nothing on this site promises that the ring will keep you safe or that help will arrive. If you are in danger, call 112.

Wellness information

Any wellness information on this site, for example about cycle, sleep, stress or activity, is general information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor. Please speak to a qualified health professional about anything that worries you.

Intellectual property

The text, images, design, name and branding on this site belong to Wualt or are used with permission. You may view the site and share links to it. Please do not copy, change, sell or reuse our content without asking us first.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use the site for anything unlawful or harmful to others;
• give false information, or use someone else's details without their permission;
• try to break, overload or get into parts of the site you are not meant to reach;
• collect content from the site in bulk using automated tools;
• send spam or harmful material through our forms.

If you break these rules, we may limit or stop your access to the site.

Third-party links and services

Parts of this site rely on services run by other companies. Payments are taken on a Razorpay page, and "Join the community" opens a Google Form. We do not control these services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for what they do.

The site may also link to other websites, which we do not control either.

Disclaimers and limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we provide the site as it is. We try to keep it accurate and available. But the ring is still in development, so we cannot promise that everything on the site is complete, current and error-free, or that the site will always be available.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that come from using the site. We are also not liable for losses caused by third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits the refund promise for your deposit, or any right the law gives you that cannot be limited.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a disagreement cannot be settled by talking, it will be decided by the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Please write to us first at hello@wualt.com. We would like the chance to put things right.

Changes to these terms

As the ring develops, we may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
